Buying or selling residential property is an exciting and daunting process, especially for first-time buyers or sellers. Whether you are buying or selling real estate, my firm is prepared to help you navigate the transaction. 

As a general matter, real estate attorneys serve as legal counselor and advocate for the buyer or seller of real estate. Attorneys may provide legal services such as explaining and negotiating the contract terms, preparing and reviewing the documents you need to close the transaction, and ordering many of the necessary permits, surveys, and inspections. 

For Those Selling Residential Real Estate

For residential real estate sales, I charge a flat rate that ranges from $450 to $550, depending on the type of sale or real estate and the legal services I will be providing in that situation.. This flat rate fee covers the cost of legal services involved in the sale of residential real estate such as document and contract review, title review, drafting of closing documents (deed, bill of sale, PTAX, etc), and attending the closing. If the person who is selling real estate is contacting me before they have signed a real estate contract, I can work with them to draft and negotiate the terms of the real estate contract with the buyer.
